Nobody probably cares, but it’s good to share: I Didn’t smoke yesterday.
So yesterday was the first day since November 2002, in Jakarta, that I didn’t light a ciggie. I am not claiming I quit, I just said I didn’t smoke. If I am lucky (… and willing and strong and not too stressed and don’t have a drink tonight and not tempted by friends and …) today will be the second day.
That was a good excuse to go back in time and remember this amazing trip. I spend 2 months backpacking from Jakarta, Java to Kuta, Bali. Amongst all my trips, Indonesia must be one of my preferred ones: I found adventure, discovery, unknown religions and beliefs, fantastic people and tribes, breathtaking landscapes, freedom and almost no trousists.
