There will be blood …. between Barack and Hillary !

The subject has been covered over and over (and over and over) again, so I won’t add to it.

I won’t add that the race is tight as never seen before so late in the game. I won’t stress that Barack still leads by only 100 delegates (more or less depending on the source). I won’t note that both candidates are still only at two thirds of the way to the 2,025 delegates. I won’t remind that, besides Pennsylvania and North Carolina with respectively 158 and 115 delegates to win, only smaller states remain (with numbers of delegates from 12 to the 50s).

So basically, without going into heavy CNN type projections, if we give for the remaining primaries (and 611 delegates) a 50/50 ratio to Barack/Hillary, they would finish the race with 1,800 delegates for Barack and 1,700 for Hillary. Compare that to the 2,025 needed to win the nomination …

So once again, it’s all in the hands of the superdelegates ! Barack would need to secure 86% of the vote of ALL the coming primariesto secure his nomination without the subperdelegates. On the other hand, even with 100% of the delegates remaining to be won, Hillary wouldn’t win the nomination.
