FireEagle is a mobile app platform, allowing developers or publishers to build location-based services and apps.
I don’t know why I missed the news in November, as they launched in closed alpha, but this is huge. There are thousands (literally, i am sure) of web services that could benefit of a powerful and robust location-based app platform API, and I am so looking forward the first apps to ship !
