It's an interesting idea, however, I think putting ads on the site would make it seem much more commercial, and thus, donors would not donate.

I'm not saying Wikipedia is doing nothing right now. The WikiMedia Foundation is doing great things. I'm just saying Wikipedia could do WAY more. They should actually just test it (advertising), and see how  the users respond, and of course give all profits to charities for example.</description>
