You know, I actually bookmarked this blog post because it has a lot of good tidbits on how to hang out with family/friends visiting your locale. I just had a problem like this recently with a few of my very close friends coming in from Denver. I would literally come in early (6AM) so I could have an extended lunch (12-3PM), then come on back and work 'til 7PM and meet them wherever they wanted to go every night. Unfortunately for me, they came in on a Sunday night and left Friday evening. The only day I was able to get off was Thursday (since I have a major conference call and meeting every Friday). We squeezed as much as we could muster that day as possible starting. Since they already hit The Met 2 days in a row, on their 3rd day, I came along and it was excellent. It was just a little disappointing that I didn't have more time to share with them. Thanks for posting this: I hope I can implement it the next time someone comes in.
