I just came back from a wonderful wedding near Lyon, France last week-end in a wonderful castle, the Chateau De Chavagneux. I was discussing with family and friends the Apple passion (hysteria?) happening right now, and my father told me that maybe he could try the iPhone 2g now (this is his phone, I hide myself when he uses it, I am afraid that it might explode …), and that it might be a good time to buy one.
This morning, like the good son than I am, I went to Craigslist to try to source the market. And well, I am appalled …
I have always been admiring how Apple managed to create a passion around its products and their launches (even though some decisions are debatable …).
However, I am sick of the noise and what I found this morning almost made me scream while rolling on the floor laughing: Line pass tickets selling for $100, iPhone 3G selling for $1100 bucks, and even iPhone 2G selling in 3G box (”Wow ! Supa-duppa cool !! I have a 3G box !!”).

The Apple rumor mill is once again running overtime on the topic of netbooks. If you believe the reports, Steve Jobs is himself leading the charge. My take: Whatever Apple does, it won’t be a netbook in the usual sense, I also bet that Apple, if it does anything, will itself avoid using the n-word to describe it.
the iPhone 3G looks very cool and feature packed. i will be saving some of my allowance to buy that phone.

iPhone 3G is simply the best phone that i have owned. It is very stylish and its nice features. I also own an N97 but i like the iphone.
last year me and my brother bought an iPhone 3G. it is a great phone with lots of functionality and great styling too.
The processor is described as slightly recent design amount but it and also the GPU are most likely the similar pace since the 3GS. The old Touch with the similar CPU and GPU since the 3G was faster. Besides getting the clock pace turned up greater the Contact has much less software programs to run since it’s not a telephone. It ought to do more than any iPhone to day in performance.
i can say that the iPhone 3G has the best design and erconomics when it comes to 3G phones. .’
